As a Sr. Compensation Analyst at Hillenbrand, you ll be an important member of the Human Resources team responsible for developing, managing, evaluating and communicating the compensation programs for our dynamic global organization.

This role is responsible for compiling analysis and performing compensation transactions related to our more complex roles and new roles being created. The Sr. Compensation Analyst provides guidance to HR and business leadership regarding compensation programs and jobs, incentive compensation plans, global mobility, and long-term incentives ensuring they comply with best practices, existing policies and processes. They carry out survey-based job evaluations to ascertain the scope of employee responsibilities and requirements, and conduct in-depth analysis on incentive compensation plans, long-term incentive plans, and mobility programs in order to provide recommendations that will strengthen our program design, processes, and policies to ensure the success of our plan. Responsibilities also include the following:

  • Maintaining various HR and Compensation systems with accurate job and compensation information
  • Providing long-term incentive / equity support by working directly with vendors, planning for transactions, running reports and validating transactions
  • Supporting incentive plan design and management process by assisting in documentation, tracking, and or process administration
  • Providing mobility support by ensuring policy compliance and working directly with vendors to address employee questions and concerns
  • Creating and maintain process documentation

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years Compensation experience, developing a solid understanding of multiple Compensation areas
  • Minimum 3 years experience with data and analysis
  • Professional experience and/or Bachelor s degree required
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Compensation and/or HRIS systems
  • Excellent project management skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives
  • Stock administration experience, preferred
  • Incentive Plan experience, preferred
